How this affects recommendations

It doesn't change the ranking rules. The matching engine scores courses against your answers with fixed, published weights — there is no input for commission size. A course that doesn't fit your goal, experience, or budget is penalized or excluded regardless of any affiliate relationship.

Your privacy

The quiz runs entirely in your browser and your answers are never sent to a server or stored by us. We use a first-party, anonymous measurement tool for page, quiz-progress, and link-click counts. It stores no names, emails, IP addresses, user agents, complete URLs, or cross-site identifiers. You can turn it off in the footer. Your result is encoded in the page URL and remains under your control. Courses you choose to save are stored in this browser on this device; you can remove them from the saved list.

We are testing two English homepage button labels. When anonymous analytics is enabled, this browser stores a random experiment-only identifier and version to measure quiz completion within 24 hours of seeing the button. Quiz answers are not sent. The identifier is never put in links or joined to ordinary visit sessions. Our collector stores only its hash; browser-level records are scheduled for removal by retention maintenance from 2026-10-16, leaving aggregate results. The local identifier is cleared on the next experiment-page visit after 2026-10-09. You can clear site storage sooner or turn off anonymous analytics in the footer.
